High alumina insulation brick is also known as lightweight alumina insulating brick. It is a new type of lightweight insulating material that contains approximately 48% alumina, mullite, and glass phase or corundum.
Performance Characters:
1. high porosity.
2. small volume density.
3. good insulation effect.
4. high mechanical intensity.
5. small thermal conductivity.
Application:
It is used for the construction of furnace lining and insulating layer, and the parts without erosion or scouring action of intense high-temperature melting material. The surface contact temperature shouldn't be higher than 1350℃ when it is exposed to flame directly.
